Russia boycott includes CAR T therapies

While major pharmaceutical companies are continuing to provide essential medicines to patients in Russia, including treatments for rare diseases, at least two life sciences companies have cut off access in response to the war in Ukraine. The voluntary boycott will leave Russian children who would have received CAR T cancer therapy with no options, unless they can travel to another country. 

Medicines are exempt from sanctions, and drug companies have largely resisted calls for them to stop selling essential drugs in Russia...
