Just China raises $57M series B

On Aug. 8, biologics company Hangzhou Just Biotherapeutics Ltd. (Hangzhou, China) raised $57 million in a series B round led by Temasek. New investors Taikang, Hangzhou Economic & Technological Development Area, Bank of China and Bank of Hangzhou also participated, along with existing investors Lilly Asia Ventures and Arch Venture Partners.

Just China was founded in 2016 as a joint venture with Just Biotherapeutics Inc. (Seattle, Wash.), a company focused on streamlining and reducing the cost of antibody production (see BioCentury Innovations, Sept. 1, 2016)...
