Biogen Idec said preliminary results from its annual meeting showed that shareholders elected Carl Icahn's nominee Alexander Denner and reelected current directors Robert Pangia and William Young. Results on the fourth director will be available in one to three weeks. A day before Biogen Idec released the preliminary results, Denner told BioCentury that he and another Icahn nominee, Richard Mulligan, were elected.
