UC Berkeley group identifies new Cas enzyme

In a Science paper published Thursday, Jennifer Doudna's lab reported a new family of CRISPR-associated Cas enzymes, CRISPR-associated 14 (Cas14), that could improve CRISPR-based diagnostics.
