House bundles CREATES with measures that Trump won’t sign

The House passed the bipartisan CREATES Act Thursday, but included it as part of a package of drug pricing and insurance bills (H.R. 987) that is unlikely to gain traction in the Senate or be signed by President Donald Trump.

The Creating and Restoring Equal Access to Equivalent Samples Act is intended to ensure access to drug samples required for developing generic or biosimilar drugs.
