Pharmas line up to testify on drug prices

Under mounting pressure from Congress, executives from five of seven pharmaceutical companies have agreed to testify at the Senate Finance Committee's Feb. 26 hearing on drug prices.

CEOs from four of the companies plan to attend: Olivier Brandicourt of Sanofi (Euronext:SAN; NASDAQ:SNY), Ken Frazier of Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK), Albert Bourla of Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE) and Giovanni Caforio of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (NYSE:BMY). Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) said Jennifer Taubert, EVP and worldwide chairman of pharmaceuticals, will testify...
