EMA faces higher staff losses with Amsterdam move

Higher-than-expected staff losses related to EMA's pending move to Amsterdam in March 2019 have prompted the agency to enter the third phase of its business continuity plan, scaling back on specific activities such as guideline development for non-urgent public health needs.

EMA expects staff loss of about 30% "with a high degree of uncertainty regarding mid-term staff retention."
