OrbiMed's Isaly steps down

Late Thursday, OrbiMed Advisors said founder and Managing Partner Samuel Isaly will step down. A management committee composed of partners Sven Borho, Carl Gordon and Jonathan Silverstein will lead the investment firm, which has over $14 billion in assets under management

The news follows sexual harassment allegations against Isaly, which STAT reported on Tuesday. STAT said it was told by former OrbiMed employees that Isaly "perpetuated a toxic culture of sexual harassment ... routinely subjecting young female assistants to pornography in the workplace, lewd jokes, and pervasive sexist comments."...
