Eligo raises $20M series A

Microbiome company Eligo Bioscience S.A.S. (Paris, France) raised $20 million in a series A round led by new investor Khosla Ventures. Existing investor Seventure Partners also participated. The round included a $2 million award from France's Worldwide Innovation Challenge. Eligo has raised a total of $24 million to date.

Eligo synthesizes biotherapeutics, which it calls eligobiotics, to target specific bacteria strains within the microbiome.
