Viriom Inc. (San Diego, Calif.) hired Iain Dukes as CEO, a new position at the antiviral company. He is a venture partner at OrbiMed Advisors and serves as chairman of Iovance Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:IOVA) as well as CEO of Theseus Pharmaceuticals Inc. Dukes is a veteran of multiple big biopharmas, including Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK) and Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN).

Matinas BioPharma Holdings Inc. (NYSE-M:MTNB) hired James Ferguson as CMO. He was CV and bone therapeutic area head of U.S. Medical Affairs at Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN).
