Vallance leaving GSK for U.K. gov’t post - reports

GlaxoSmithKline plc (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK) declined to comment on multiple reports that GSK President of R&D Patrick Vallance is expected to leave to become the U.K. government's Chief Scientific Adviser and head of the Government Office for Science.
