Duke-Margolis forms value-based payment consortium

The Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy said a newly formed consortium intends to explore issues tied to value-based payments for drugs, devices and gene technologies. The center said the consortium aims to overcome legal and regulatory hurdles, as well as "operational challenges such as fragmented and difficult-to-track patient outcome data," that can affect value-based payment arrangements.
