Study suggests exosomes can treat pancreatic cancer

In a paper published Wednesday in Nature, researchers described an exosome-based therapeutic that could be used to treat pancreatic cancer using short interfering RNA to target K-Ras (KRAS). IP from the study has been licensed to Codiak BioSciences Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.) and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. The team included scientists from MD Anderson and the University of Porto.
