Trisomy 21 test diagnostic data

GATC Biotech's LifeCodexx AG subsidiary reported data from a European validation study in 522 maternal blood samples from pregnant women with a high risk of chromosomal alterations in their unborn child showing that the PraenaTest had 100% sensitivity and specificity for detecting fetal trisomy 21 when the blood samples were collected in cell-free DNA blood collection tubes. When blood samples were collected in potassium ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid (K3EDTA) blood collection tubes, the PraenaTest had 81.8% sensitivity and 98.7% specificity for detecting fetal trisomy 21.
