Gram-negative antibiotic that preserves commensal bacteria

A Gram-negative-selective antibiotic could help treat infections while preserving the microbiome by targeting the Gram-negative-specific Lol lipoprotein transport system, which has low homology between Gram-negative commensal bacteria and pathogens.
