RNF41 gene therapy for chronic liver disease

Increasing the expression of macrophage RNF41 — an E3 ubiquitin protein ligase that drives degradation of various proinflammatory cytokine receptors, adapter molecules, and kinases — could help treat chronic liver disease by stimulating liver regeneration, and alleviating inflammation, injury, and fibrosis.
