Carticel cartilage repair service data

GENZL announced that a statistically significant improvement in patient outcome is evident six months after the Carticel treatment, which involves implant of cultured cartilage culled from patients' own tissue, according to data collected by the company's Patient Outcomes Registry.
Data are collected on patients before and during treatment, and at six-month intervals after treatment. The current report summarizes data on 53 patients who were treated more than six months prior to the time of data collection, and whose six-month data were received by June 30.
