Incyte Pharmaceuticals Inc., Monsanto deal

INCY will apply its high-throughput gene sequencing and bioinformatics capabilities to determine gene sequence and expression information for genomes of plant species designated by Monsanto, including corn.

INCY also will compare the plant sequences to its LifeSeq database of gene sequence and expression information to reveal information concerning metabolic and enzymatic pathways.
