IMMU reported that initial analysis of 74 patients in a Phase III trial has found a true-positive rate of 100 percent and a true-negative rate of 94 percent. This means that most patients presenting with symptoms of atypical appendicitis but with a negative result with LeukoScan do not require immediate surgery.
