Ontogeny, Boehringer Mannheim GmbH deal

The companies agreed to develop drugs to treat bone, cartilage and other skeletal disorders using Ontogeny's Hedgehog technology. Hedgehog proteins are responsible for inducing the formation or regeneration of tissue. Boehringer Mannheim and its parent, Corange Ltd., could provide up to $40 million over five years in support to Ontogeny, which includes R&D payments and an undisclosed equity investment. ...
