Carticel cartilage cell service data

At the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons meeting in Atlanta, Ga., university researchers presented data on patients who were treated more than two years ago with GENZL's Carticel cartilage cell service.

Of 46 knee cartilage defects, 83 percent were successfully treated. Specifically, 81 percent of 31 defects of the femoral condyle (the part of the knee formed by the end of the thigh bone) were treated successfully, as were 87 percent of 15 defects of the kneecap. ...
