Vivus, Astra AB deal

Astra received international marketing rights to VVUS's MUSE alprostadil for erectile dysfunction. VVUS will receive a $10 million payment, and will be eligible for up to $20 million in milestones. It also will manufacture the product for Astra.

Astra will market and sell MUSE throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Central America. The companies will jointly build a sales force within Astra, called ASTRA/VIVUS, to promote the product in certain European markets, including the U.K., France and Germany. ...
