The companies entered into a three-year collaboration to develop a comprehensive genomic map that identifies the chromosomal locations for human gene sequences. Financial details weren’t disclosed.

INCY will provide its DNA clones or expressed gene sequences (cDNA). Genome Systems will map the sequences against its bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library, which contains a virtually complete copy of the human genome.
