IMNR and Bayer will develop a gene therapy product to treat hemophilia A. The technology allows for an injected gene to be delivered directly to the liver, in order to express or block proteins associated with a range of diseases.
Bayer, the U.S. affiliate of Bayer AG (Leverkusen, Germany), paid a $6 million license fee and will make a $4 million equity investment in IMNR, with the price per share to be determined by IMNR’s planned 2.5 million share follow-on offering. Prior to the follow-on and the Bayer investment, IMNR has 17.3 million shares outstanding. ...
