Pharmacyclics preclinical data

PCYC published data from mice with implanted murine mammary tumors, showing that contrast enhancement of the tumor by Gd-Tex was at least 30 percent compared to surrounding tissue. The effect lasted for as long as five hours after injection.

Survival of the mice after a single irradiation was enhanced (p=0.0034), and 16 of 33 given the agent were cured. For animals receiving radiation at either two or five hours after the agent, a significant effect on tumor size was seen (p=0.0439 and 0.0317, respectively). ...
