Medarex preclinical data

Researchers at the University Hospital in Utrecht, the Netherlands, and Dartmouth Medical Center demonstrated that MEDX's bispecific antibody is able to stimulate a potent immune response against targeted antigens, thereby causing a vaccine-like effect.

The data, which appear in the Journal of Clinical Investigation, are based on research with transgenic mice whose white blood cells were genetically modified to express human Fc receptors. The mice showed significantly enhanced immune responses, producing antigen-specific antibody responses with high titers of IgG1, IgG2a and IgGb, compared to mice in the control group. ...
