Ganciclovir and foscarnet data

A study published in the Archives of Ophthalmology demonstrated that a combination of ganciclovir and foscarnet was more effective for controlling recurrences of CMV retinitis in AIDS patients than either drug alone.
The study included 279 patients who had already had the eye infection and had been treated with either drug, but experienced a relapse. ...
