Results of an ongoing Phase I dose escalation study in 24 advanced cancer patients who were treated with the radiosensitizer showed selective localization of the compound in a variety of tumor types, including small cell lung cancer, non-small celll lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and metastatic tumors to the brain.

No serious toxicity was observed. The trial will continue enrolling at least another 9 patients until a maximally tolerated dose level is achieved. ...
