ProCyte, Hymedix International Inc. deal

PRCY acquired from HYMX the worldwide rights outside of Asia to five wound care products for an undisclosed amount of cash and PRCY stock. HYMX also will receive undisclosed future milestone payments and royalties. PRCY also acquired worldwide rights outside Asia to certain future wound care applications of the technology, and to worldwide drug delivery applications.

The products include transparent thin film wound dressings, aquagel sheet dressings, exudate absorbers and wound moisturizers, all based on a multi-block copolymer structure. The products, all of which have received 510(k) clearance from the FDA, have not been marketed because HYMX couldn't ramp up a full-scale marketing launch, according to PRCY. ...
