Pharma Patch PLC, Technical Chemicals and Products Inc. deal

TCPI completed its acquisition of SKINY by issuing 786,214 TCPI common shares (see BioCentury Aug. 14). TCPI, which closed at $14.438 on Friday, also assumed a $5 million promissory note obligation of SKINY, which is developing transdermal drug delivery systems and skin permeation enhancers.

TCPI's One-Step and Rapid diagnostics are based on membrane technology. The company sells over-the-counter tests for pregnancy and ovulation, and tests for cholesterol, glucose levels and drug abuse. ...
