Queens University collaborators of the company published animal data in Nature Medicine showing action of the aliphatic compounds in mouse spleen, a model that reflects formation of the type of amyloid associated with chronic inflammation.
Given five to seven days after amyloid had accumulated in the spleen, the agents caused the percent of spleen area occupied by amyloid to fall from 25 to 12 percent of spleen by day 10. Amyloid deposits in this model resolve after day 14. ...
