Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Inc., Hoechst Marion Roussel Inc. deal

TEVIY and HMR agreed to form a strategic alliance in Europe and other unspecified markets to commercialize TEVIY's Copaxone (copolymer-1) for relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. TEVIY will receive $25 million from Hoechst, including $10 million upon signing of the agreement, which is expected before the end of the year. The balance will be paid as milestones.
