GenPharm said it has generated high affinity human IgG antibodies from its transgenic HuMAb-Mouse line which are suitable for therapeutic use.

The mouse line, which contains human antibody genes that rearrange to form high affinity human antibodies, has generated antibodies with an affinity of up to 1010 to human antigens including IgE, CD4, and CEA. GenPharm expects to begin clinical trials with the first candidate by the end of 1996. ...
