Oral calcitonin data

Preliminary results of a U.K. Phase I dose-ranging trial with UGNE's oral calcitonin indicate that the majority of subjects who received the hormone in a single dose manifested significant blood levels of calcitonin. Doses ranged from 100-200pg/ml.

UGNE said measurable blood levels have not been seen in patients receiving the approved nasally administered formulations. ...
