GILD published animal data showing that Protein C Activator acted as an effective anticoagulant without any adverse impact on normal bleeding times in vivo.
As published in Nature, PCA provided dose-dependent, reversible anti-coagulation in primates without increasing baseline bleeding times, and without procoagulant activity. The compound is a modified version of thrombin. ...
