Leica will use Abbott's fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) probes that target the EGFR 2 ( HER2; ErbB2; neu) gene locus to develop a fully automated version of Abbott's PathVysion FISH assay for use on the Leica Microsystems' BOND staining platform.
