Tivozanib: Preliminary Phase Ib data

Preliminary data from an open-label, dose-escalation, U.S. Phase Ib trial in 16 patients with metastatic RCC who had failed up to one prior VEGF-targeted therapy showed that oral tivozanib in combination with IV Torisel temsirolimus resulted in 2 partial responses as measured by RECIST criteria and tumor shrinkage in 12 patients.
