Immuno-Designed and MEDX partnered to combine MEDX's MDX-010 anti- CTLA-4 blocking antibody with various Cell Drugs from Immuno-Designed to enhance immune responses. The deal initially will focus on using the antibody with Immuno-Designed's Eladem dendritophage and recombinant PSA therapy, which is in Phase II testing for hormone refractory prostate cancer. MEDX said MDX-010 has been shown to prolong the interaction between dendritic cells and T cells in preclinical studies.
