York presented the mode of action of its broad-spectrum anti-infective agent, which is based on the molecule G1. G1 inhibits enzymes, as well as the synthesis of proteins, DNA, and RNA in microbes. York said that in clinical testing Dermofural was as effective as Ketoconazole cream in fungal infections, and as topical Gentamycin in superficial bacterial skin infections.
