In a move that solidifies FDA’s operational leadership, the Trump administration has made Michael Davis CDER Director and Karim Mikhail CBER Director. They had been serving as acting center directors since May. Jared Seehafer has been named to a new position, Deputy Commissioner for Technology and Artificial Intelligence.
HHS did not wait for confirmation of Heidi Overton as FDA Commissioner to make the announcement. Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas can continue serving while a nomination for the post is pending before the Senate. ...
