GSK takes rights to Hutchmed’s KRAS-antibody conjugate: Deals Report

An agreement giving GSK shared rights to a dual-targeted oncology therapy is the first deal from Hutchmed’s innovative platform, following the start of clinical trials of two other programs designed using the same technology.

GSK plc (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK) is paying $110 million up front for most global rights to HMPL-A830, a conjugated therapy consisting of a KRAS inhibitor payload linked to an anti-EGFR antibody. It’s derived from a platform Hutchmed China Ltd. (LSE:HCM; NASDAQ:HCM; HKEX:00013) calls its Antibody-Targeted Therapy Conjugate (ATTC) technology, which has generated clinical programs with PI3K payloads conjugated to HER2 or EGFR antibodies; both of those are in Phase I testing...
