ARPA-H envisions faster rare disease diagnosis with AI

Agency backs four projects to develop early detection tools in Rare Disease AI/ML for Precision Integrated Diagnostics program

Issuing four new awards for up to nearly $83 million, ARPA-H aims to fund researchers tapping into AI to accelerate the creation of large datasets and AI tools for rare diseases to enable earlier diagnosis for patients and advance therapeutic development.
