Next chapter for Legend’s Huang comes atop K2

Two weeks after stepping down from Legend’s C-suite, Ying Huang has resurfaced as the CEO of K2 Therapeutics, an MPM BioImpact-backed, cross-border biotech with a multimodal pipeline that includes ADCs and T cell engagers.

Huang is a former Wall Street investment banker who became CFO of  Legend Biotech Corp. (NASDAQ:LEGN) in 2019. A year later, he became CEO, overseeing the rise of Carvykti ciltacabtagene autoleucel as the CAR T therapy, partnered with Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), moved from the clinic to the market, broadening its label along the way.
