Perspective — siRNAs are better than ASOs
Why it might be time to just admit that siRNAs are the better modality

I think we may have reached the point at which we can just say that siRNAs are better therapeutic molecules than antisense oligonucleotides.
To be clear: I don’t “have a dog in this race” — I didn’t spend my Ph.D. (which I don’t have) or post-doc (which I didn’t do) working on siRNAs, or do an internship at an siRNA-focused company — although I did meet Craig Mello last year and for the 15 minutes I spent chatting with him, he was kind, gracious and very personable. ...
