Lawsuit refutes government assertions, lists harms beyond Biosecure
WuXi AppTec is contesting its designation as a Chinese military company and, in the process, has detailed a range of harms it says flow from the designation beyond restrictions tied to the Biosecure Act and military procurement.
In a lawsuit filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, WuXi AppTec Co. Ltd. (Shanghai:603259; HKEX:2359) stated that 1260H designation “has already caused and will continue to cause severe and irreparable harms” to the company and its employees.
