Servier continues M&A buildout, acquires Edgewise’s neuro programs

Servier is once again turning to business development in an effort to accelerate the buildout of a therapeutic area business. While previous big deals have focused on cancer, the French pharma is now hoping its acquisition of sevasemten from Edgewise can hasten the establishment of its neurology business, with the potential for a commercial launch as soon as next year.
