Scientists from Amsterdam University Medical Center discovered a cerebrospinal fluid biomarker of disease progression that can discriminate TDP-43-driven frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) from tau-driven FTLD. The biomarker could help advance clinical trials targeting specific FTLD pathologies.
