Yvonne Hao named COO, general partner of Flagship

Flagship Pioneering named Yvonne Hao COO and general partner. Most recently, Hao was secretary of the Executive Office of Economic Development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where she worked with the business community to foster job creation and economic growth. She was also co-chair of the Massachusetts AI Strategic Task Force. Before joining Massachusetts’ government, Hao co-founded Cove Hill Partners, where she served as managing director of the investment firm, focusing on tech investments.
