Trump gives pharmas 60 days to slash prices

Drugmakers and investors wondering when the next shoe would drop in President Donald Trump’s fight over global drug pricing disparities got their answer Thursday afternoon. 

In a letter to 17 drug companies and a memo posted on the White House website, Trump rejected pharmaceutical industry responses to his demand to eliminate discrepancies between U.S. and international pricing of pharmaceuticals and gave industry 60 days to comply with his demands. ...
