Biotechs caught in dispute between Apple Tree Partners, Rybolovlev 

Following BioCentury’s report Friday about litigation between Apple Tree Partners and the company’s principal financial backer, Dmitry Rybolovlev, both parties have emailed statements to BioCentury clarifying their positions. They dispute the amount of funding Rybolovlev has provided, the financial viability of some of ATP’s portfolio companies, the venue for resolving their differences, and the appropriate resolution.

As BioCentury reported, Apple Tree has sued Rybolovlev in the Court of Chancery of Delaware, demanding that he meet a $109 million capital call. ...
